Dear Friends,
Welcome to Saint Henry School!
We are blessed with the opportunity to offer a
wonderful parochial school environment for our
children. Persons deeply committed to the
mission of Catholic education compose our
administration, staff, and faculty. They work
hard, live the faith themselves, and truly care
about and love the children they teach.
We are also so blessed with
parental involvement and commitment. So many
volunteers so very generously serve our school
community. Our parents know how central they are
in the formation and education of their
children, and that they are the primary
educators in passing on the faith. All of us in
leadership at Saint Henry School work to
collaborate with them in all of our efforts.
Ultimately, what we are about is
the person of Christ, and trying to instill in
our young people a generous response to the
life-long call to know, love, and serve the Lord
through the development and use of their many
gifts and talents.
Saint Henry School is a vital
part of the mission of St. Henry Parish. From
its very beginning over fifty years ago, the
school has enthusiastically been supported as
one of our primary responsibilities as a parish.
What a gift it has been to the parish that the
Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia have
administered and taught in the school since its
founding in 1957!
Sincerely,
Reverend Michael O. Johnston
Pastor
